THE DJ DongarMackeson Knockout Football Competition continued on Sunday, at the Dennery Playing Field with the second semi-final between Seria and Piton Travel Young Stars
Piton Travel Young Stars broke the deadlock late in the first half with a wonderful long-range free kick from Travis Meril. However, early in the second half TevinFaucher converted for Seria after an effort from Nicholas Leon came off the crossbar.
With the match tied at one a piece, both teams pressed for a win, However it was Piton Travel Young Stars which secured victory and a spot in the finals courtesy of a looping header from striker, Junior St. Rose, to beat the keeper.
The grand final will be contested between Piton Travel Young Stars and Hill Top Ballers on Sunday, from 3:00 p.m. at the Dennery Playing Field.
