VIEUX FORT Comprehensive emerged champions of the 2014 LUCELEC Under – 19 Schools football at the La Ressource playing field, Vieux Fort when they defeated Vieux Fort Post Secondary 2 – 0 in the final.
In the grand final in an all southern affair Vieux Fort Comprehensive played Vieux Fort Post Secondary. Following the half time break after a goalless first period, a goal each from Jamie Prospere and Chan Torrence secured the championship for Comprehensive.
In the first game of the afternoon’s double header AnseGer Secondary played Gros Islet Secondary in the tournament’s third place playoffs. AnseGer Secondary captured third place edging out Gros Islet Secondary 2 – 1.
At the end of the tournament the following awards were presented – Zonal winners Zone A: Gros Islet Secondary; Zone B: St. Mary’s College; Zone C: Sir Arthur Lewis Community College;
Zone D: AnseGer Secondary and Zone E: Vieux Fort Comprehensive
