TWENTY three goals were scored in four matches played as the 2014 Veterans Football tournament continued at the weekend at the Marchand Grounds with two double headers Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday, the Dennery All Blacks drubbed Desruisseaux 12 goals to nil, while Caricom Masters came from behind to win against Congorians 3-2. Congorians had led two goals to nil early in the encounter.
Sunday Gros Islet got past Prophets and Kings 3-1, while Behind the College All Stars and Soufriere played to a one all draw.
More veterans football action will continue this coming weekend.
