WEATHER permitting, the long awaited Mindoo Phillip National two day final will be played this weekend at the Dennery Cricket Ground. Contesting the final will be defending champions Central Castries and Mon Repos.
Mon Repos will be looking to revenge their T20 Bank of St.Lucia Slog Fest semi final loss last weekend at the same venue. They will be resting their hopes on the experience of their senior national players – captain Craig Emmanuel, Garey Mathurin, Mervin Wells and youth players Michael and Christian Charlery.
Central Castries are confident that they can make it two consecutive wins with the likes of Stephen Naitram, Gaspard Prosper, Dillion John, Nick Elibox and the Prosper brothers – Alleyne, Alvin and Loic, in their line up.
