THE Bank of St. Lucia Select X1 enjoyed mixed fortunes over the weekend as they completed two friendly matches against St.Lucia National Cricket Association 2014 champion teams.
On Saturday at the Mindoo Phillip Park they defeated Mindoo Phillip two day champions Central Castries by 8 wickets.
Scores in the encounter – Central Castries 92 (Jamal James 43. Bowling for BOSL XI Dwight Thomas and Kester Charlemagne picked up 2 wickets each).
In reply BOSL X1 scored 93 for the loss of two wickets. (OrieChangoo 39, and TenecyHippolyte 33. Bowling for Central Castries Jamal James bagged 2 for 13).
On Sunday at the Dennery Cricket Ground, the Bank of St Lucia Select X1 lost to SLNCA Club champions – Police by 5 wickets.
Batting first BOSL X1 149 for 5 (Ashley Hippolyte 55, Stephen Naitram 51,
Police 151 for 5 Magaran Joseph 68 not out. Bowling for BOSL X1 Dillan John took 4 for 8.
