On Saturday, a select group of distinguished guests gathered for an exclusive invitation-only launch event, attended by prominent figures from Saint Lucia, including dignitaries and past prime ministers.
Attendees arrived by catamaran from Windjammer Landing to the estate’s private jetty, where they were treated to a lavish caviar and champagne reception.
Spanning an impressive 13,000 square feet, La Belle Hélène offers direct views of the Pitons and is ideally situated just minutes from the Sulphur Springs, botanical gardens, waterfalls, and the town of Soufrière.
This stunning estate follows Windjammer’s recent $40 million transformation and its entry into The Leading Hotels of the World. The name La Belle Hélène honors Saint Lucia’s nickname, “Helen of the West,” reflecting the island’s coveted beauty that has attracted attention for centuries.
Inspired by French architecture, the villa features ten exquisite bedrooms, three poolside bungalows, expansive indoor-outdoor living spaces, vaulted ceilings, and a striking fourteen-foot lagoon-style pool complete with integrated fire features and a stone grotto.
Additional amenities include private tennis and basketball courts. The grand opening drew leading hoteliers, global media, and Saint Lucian socialites, reinforcing La Belle Hélène’s status as one of the island’s most exclusive private residences.
Following a ribbon-cutting ceremony, a spectacular fireworks display illuminated the sky above the Pitons, welcoming guests into the estate. An eight-piece live band, led by acclaimed Saint Lucian guitarist Boo Hinkson, provided the evening’s entertainment, complemented by a menu of Michelin Star cuisine.
Each guest departed with a luxury-branded gift bag, enhancing the experience of this prestigious event.
