On March 19, during the Pan American Championships, Denver Jr. finished the 36 km time trial road race in 14th place out of 18 riders, notably as the youngest competitor in the Under-23 division.

Just a few days later, on March 22, he participated in the 160 km Under-23 Championships, placing 40th out of 57 riders. Remarkably, he finished only 20 seconds behind the eventual winner, marking another significant milestone in the journey of this energetic young cyclist from Saint Lucia.

Denver Jr. made history as the youngest Saint Lucian cyclist to compete in the Pan American event, facing off against ranked teams from South America.

Looking ahead, Denver Jr. is set to participate in the Memorial Labéjof et Denise, scheduled for March 28–29 in Rivière-Pilote, Martinique. This elite-level road cycling race is open to U19, Access, Open, and Elite categories.

Organized by the French Cycling Federation (FFC), the event is a highlight of the 2026 road cycling season. The race includes a challenging route from Rivière-Pilote to Abondance, showcasing both endurance and strategic racing.

As a tribute to the legendary cyclists Labejof and Denise, this event aims to promote local talent and foster international competition in Caribbean cycling.

In April, Denver will continue his competitive streak by taking part in the 38th edition of the Trophée De La Caraibe. This prestigious event will be held from April 1 to April 5 in Martinique, organized by Espoir Cycliste Ducossais (ECD) in collaboration with the city.

The Trophée De La Caraibe will feature four categories: U19, Open, Access, and Elite, including a prologue and four stages, all starting and finishing in Ducos. This event not only highlights the scenic routes of Martinique but also promotes elite cycling within the Caribbean region, marrying athletic competition with the promotion of regional tourism.

Denver Alphonse Jr. continues to inspire many with his talents and determination as he paves his way in the cycling world.
