Defending champions Babonneau have secured their place in the semifinals of the Prime Minister’s T20 Cup after a commanding nine-wicket victory over Gros Islet on Thursday night at the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground.
Babonneau delivered a clinical all-round performance, highlighted by a five-wicket haul from Yunieski Gustave, which dismantled the Gros Islet batting lineup.
In response, Babonneau comfortably chased their target, led by solid half-centuries from Johnnel Eugene and Dane Edward, sealing victory with ease.
The win propels Babonneau into the penultimate stage of the competition as they continue their title defence in impressive form.
