Breaking News: Record-High Scores in St. Lucia’s 2024 CPEA Exams

The results of the 2024 Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment (CPEA) exams, were released today by the Ministry of Education with record high scores being achieved by a number of students representing schools across the country. There was also a significant increase in the pass rate.

Minister of Education Shawn Edward praised the students, teachers, and parents for their exceptional efforts, noting that this year’s CPEA results are a testament to the resilience and academic commitment of students, families and educators.

The top-performing students were recognized in a ceremony at the Ministry of Education headquarters today. Here are the top ten achievers. Two tied for the tenth spot.

1. Jaimien Louise Pamela Devaux of the Montessori Centre with a score of 99.8%

2. Kimaya Tushar Mirajkar of the Montessori Centre with a score of 99.4%

3. Gia Giselle Joseph of the Dame Pearlette Louisy Primary with a score of 97.8%

4. Adwait Pawan Joshi of the The Montessori Centre with a score of 97.6%

5. Amaru Levi Elvis St. Omer of the The Montessori Centre with a score of 97.6%

6. Andre Jethro Zephurin of the Carmen Rene Memorial with a score of 97.6%

7. Liam Loctor of Balata Government School with a score of 97.2%

8. Anoar Christopher Hylton of the Dame Pearlette Louisy Primary with a score of 97%

9. Laila Tamika Defraitas of the Dame Pearlette Louisy Primary with a score of 97%

10. Andretti Bertram George of the The Montessori Centre with a score of 96.8%

10. Najmah Eqra Melchoir of the Augier Combined with a score of 96.8%
