Successful Jazz Business Mixer Hosted

THE St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with Promotech Saint Lucia and Co-Sponsored by St. Lucia Distillers, hosted a successful business mixer on Monday, May 6th, at the newly opened Promotech store at the Orange Grove Plaza in Bois d’Orange. The event, dubbed “Business After Hours Jazz Warm Up”, introduced the newest member of the Chamber and brought back the long-awaited Chamber Business Mixer Program since the Covid-19 Pandemic.

The evening was filled with lively steelpan music, courtesy of talented local steelpannist Gemmy Bailey, creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for attendees. Renowned Chef Orlando delighted guests with a selection of delectable finger foods, adding a touch of culinary style and sparkle to the event.

Attendees at the event hailed from a cross-section of industries ranging from manufacturing, construction, retail, and hospitality to name a few. “It was really good to see members once again mingling in an informal atmosphere, getting to know each other and putting names to faces” said Brian Louisy Executive Director of the Chamber.

The response from Chamber members and other invited guests was extremely positive, with the store space buzzing with business professionals eager to reconnect, network, forge new partnerships, and take advantage of a one-night only 15% storewide discount. This event served as a testament to the Chamber’s commitment to fostering collaboration and creating valuable opportunities for its members.

Looking ahead, members can look forward to more of these Networking Mixers events from the Chamber. The success of this business mixer underscores the importance of coming together as a community working towards a shared and sustainable prosperity.
