The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force is calling on persons with information regarding the shooting death of 23-year-old Dante St. Ange of Girard Cacao, Babonneau to pass on that information to them.
Person with information on the shooting are asked to contact the Babonneau Police Station at 456-4120 or the Criminal Investigations Department at 456-3770. Alternatively, anonymous tips can be provided by dialing 555 (the Crime Hotline) or by utilizing the RSLPF Crime Hotline Application, which is available in Google Play Store.
The shooting occurred Thursday night at Fond Assau, Babonneau. Police officers stationed in that district responded by visiting the scene of the shooting and found an unresponsive male with apparent gunshot injuries to his body. Emergency Medical Technicians from the Saint Lucia Fire Service attended to the victim and conveyed him to the Owen King European Union (OKEU) Hospital. The victim succumbed to his injuries, and a medical practitioner later confirmed his death.
