Saint Lucia U19 Suffer 20-Run Defeat to Grenada in Super 50 Clash

Saint Lucia’s Under-19 cricket team came up short against Grenada U19 in their latest Winlott Inc WICB U19 Super 50 encounter on April 12, 2026.

After being sent in to bat, Grenada posted a competitive total of 123 all out in 32.1 overs, led by Kemile Abraham’s 24 and a steady knock from Jayonn Henry (16). Spin bowler Bjorn Fanis attacked effectively for Saint Lucia, finishing with figures of 3-23.

In reply, Saint Lucia struggled to build partnerships and were eventually dismissed for 103 in 27.1 overs. Tyler Venner top-scored with 16, while Theo Edward (15) offered some resistance. Grenada’s Shamel Hillaire (6-26) was unplayable on the day, running through the Saint Lucia batting line-up.

It was a disciplined Grenadian performance, who clinched victory by 20 runs in a rain-reduced fixture. Saint Lucia will be looking to bounce back as the tournament rolls on.
