SLFA To Implement Strategic Workshops

The Saint Lucia Football Association (SLFA) Inc. is actively rolling out a series of strategic workshops aimed at enhancing the skills and capabilities of its administrators and technical units.

During a recent Concacaf Presidents’ Meeting in Miami, Victor Montagliani, President of Concacaf, announced that in 2026, the organization will conduct a Concacaf Team Administration Workshop for its member associations.

This workshop is designed to promote better financial governance and effective team management.

In line with this initiative, the SLFA has been selected to participate in the workshop, set to take place in two phases on March 13 and 14.

The first workshop on March 13 will focus on:

– Technical Directors
– National Team Administrators
– Team Equipment Officers
– Head Coaches of all national teams

The second workshop, scheduled for March 14, will specifically target Team Administrators from the Semi-Professional Football League (SPFL), including both Tier 1 and Tier 2.

The primary aim of these workshops is to share best practices on a wide range of team-related topics, which include:

– Financial Planning – Module 1
– National Team Travel
– Roles & Responsibilities
– Pre-Event Management
– Game Day Management
– Post-Event Management
– Safeguarding
– Ethics & Integrity

Through these workshops, the SLFA seeks to empower its members with the knowledge and tools necessary for effective team administration and management.
