The Saint Lucia Football Association has marked a significant milestone in its ongoing commitment to safeguarding in football.
Safeguarding Officer Raejean Montoute recently graduated with the FIFA Guardians Safeguarding in Football Diploma at FIFA headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland. She also participated in the FIFA Safeguarding Summit held alongside the programme.

This achievement highlights the SLFA’s continued efforts to strengthen child protection systems and promote safe football environments across Saint Lucia. During the summit, Ms. Montoute formally presented the Association’s Safeguarding Regulations to Marie-Laure Lemineur, Head of Safeguarding at FIFA. The presentation was well received and reflected the Association’s proactive alignment with international best practices.
The accomplishment further reinforces the SLFA’s role in advancing safeguarding standards locally, as it continues to ensure that football remains a safe, inclusive, and supportive space for all.

The SLFA has proudly celebrated this milestone, reaffirming its commitment to being true guardians of the game.
