.

The Castries Super League (CSL) competition captured the attention of football fans over the weekend with three thrilling draws at the SAB playing facility.

On Saturday, a highly anticipated top-of-the-table clash saw Valley Soccer Club face off against Police Sports Club, resulting in an exciting draw.

Valley Soccer quickly asserted their dominance over the law enforcement team with relentless goal attempts. However, the attackers struggled to convert, thanks to some impressive saves from Police goalkeeper Davy Joseph, who also plays for Mabouya Valley in the SPFL.

Valley Soccer finally found the net in the 60th minute through a clever finish by Nakeem Joseph. Despite several chances to secure the win, Valley Soccer conceded a free kick in the dying moments of the match.

Former national striker David Henry stepped up and converted it into the upper right corner, earning Police a share of the points.

FC Pioneers broke the deadlock in the 37th minute with a penalty, converted by Demario Gabriel following a foul by NYAH FC goalkeeper Thomas Francois. The match turned into a back-and-forth battle, with Marlon Christopher netting a well-placed lob to earn NYAH FC their first points of the tournament.

The weekend’s final fixture saw Lancers FC and VSADC battle to a goalless draw. Both teams struggled to establish dominance, and neither goalkeeper faced significant challenges.

VSADC squandered two late opportunities from close-range headers, both going wide of the target. As the results unfolded, Valley Soccer Club remained at the top of the standings with seven points, while Police, Lancers FC, FC Pioneers, and VSADC all sit on four points.
