It’s always amazing when I read or listen to the opinion of some people.
They will neglect the facts and refuse to accept the reality just to justify their opinion.
A typical case is what is going on in the outside world, the restrictions as it relates to visas, the spiraling cost of living due to military situations, the climate situation that is of global concern, all these situations that may not be of our own doing, but can affect our livelihoods, and to accept that just maybe we as a people are partly responsible for the cause and effect.
The government of the day borrows to ensure that infurstructure improves, as well as health care ensure that education is broadened and employment opportunities happen, but yet there are those who will not see the progress and it only matters if they benefit personally.
Most times it is choice of lifestyle that is responsible for some people’s negative predicaments, yet they go around with blinkers over their eyes.
Some live from day to day, from pay check to pay check, spend their hard-earned cash on non-essentials and party like there is no tomorrow, yet, when the shit hits the fan, it is always somebody else to be blamed for their misfortune.
Some have tunnel vision, some only see things one way, some choose not to compromise, or adjust to the new realities, yet despite all the facts that are staring them in the face, they can’t see beyond their noses.
Life should be about yesterday, today and tomorrow, but without prudent planning or making the necessary adjustments when necessary, the outcome will always be being caught unprepared.
If you don’t make hay while the sun shines or save for a rainy day when the shit hits your face you will be the one holding that end of the stick.
There are lots of examples around us, many models to learn from, plenty instances to draw from, yet the constant unawareness is usually the pit-hole that one digs for himself.
Information is at our finger tips, research can be done if you are unsure of any situation, but rather than verify and rather than use your intelligence to satisfy your curiosity or deal with your doubts or misunderstandings, you keep doing the same things and expect a different outcome.
The time for self-assement is now, the time for preparation is now, the time for reversing negative trends is now, and if you choose not to see the future then it is what it is and will be what it aught to be, and you will surely sing a sad song when perilous time becomes the order of the day.
I cannot look for you, do for you, or think for you, all these things you have to learn to do for yourself, unless you are defeated even before you start.
Why gain an education and wisdom and yet live a life so care-free and careless, without concern.
Ooops! Such a failure will be your tomorrow, and you will continue to blame the obstacles that you choose to leave where they are.
