At the event’s conclusion, the Anse La Raye R.C. Infant and Primary School emerged as champions for the third consecutive year.
With the stands packed and the track alive with energy, student athletes from La Croix Maingot Combined, Roseau R.C. Combined, Bexon R.C. Infant and Primary, Odsan Combined, Ciceron R.C. Combined, Anse La Raye Infant and Primary, and Millet Primary gave their all. The Lady Gordon Opportunity Centre also joined as a special invitational school, reinforcing that this meet is more than just competition; it embodies tradition, passion, and community spirit.
Final Standings:
1. Anse La Raye R.C. Infant and Primary – 320 points
2. Millet Primary – 293 points
3. Ciceron R.C. Combined – 263 points
4. Bexon R.C. Infant and Primary – 204 points
5. La Croix Maingot Combined – 196 points
6. Odsan Combined – 188 points
7. Roseau R.C. Infant and Primary – 77 points

Every race was a battle, and every relay was a spectacle. Athletes sprinted and powered through distances ranging from 60m to 1200m, with relays such as the 4x75m, 4x100m, 4x150m, and 4x300m stealing the show, contributing a massive 12 points to their teams.

Victors and Victrix Ludorum:
– Under 9 Boys Jamal Fortune (Ciceron R.C. Combined)
– Under 9 Girl :Paige Mercier (Anse La Raye R.C. Infant and Primary) & Daisey Williams (La Croix Maingot Combined) – a thrilling tie.
– Under 11 Boys : Clendon Edward (Anse La Raye R.C. Infant and Primary) & Givenchy Ismael (Millet Primary) – another electrifying tie.
– Under 11 Girls: Royalty Hippolyte (Ciceron R.C. Combined)
– **Under 13 Boys:** Andrew James (Bexon R.C. Infant and Primary)
– Under 13 Girls: Laila Lewis (Millet Primary), Kyama Avril (Millet Primary), & Vernella Smith (Anse La Raye R.C. Infant and Primary) – a three-way tie that had the crowd on its feet.
From the youngest sprinters to the seasoned under-13 warriors, every athlete left their mark.
Ultimately, Anse La Raye R.C. Infant and Primary stood tallest, their three-peat victory cementing their status as the undisputed powerhouse of District Four athletics.
Physical Education teacher Jeancon Harris, who is new to the job, congratulated his athletes on their outstanding performance, emphasizing that this victory is just the beginning.
He made it clear that training will resume immediately as the team prepares for their next challenge: the Inter Primary School Track Meet Final, scheduled for April 1 at the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground [DSCG].
