
In preparation for the 2026 CONCACAF Men’s Under-20 Qualifiers, the Saint Lucia Football Association (SLFA) Inc. has announced a strong team to represent the island.
Saint Lucia has been placed in Group C alongside Antigua & Barbuda, the British Virgin Islands, Dominica, and the Dominican Republic, with all matches scheduled to take place in Costa Rica.
Saint Lucia will kick off its campaign against Antigua and Barbuda on February 23rd, followed by a match against the Dominican Republic on February 27th. The team will then face Dominica on March 1st, concluding the group stage with a final match against the BVI on March 3rd, 2026.
The tournament features six groups, with the group winners advancing to the next round, scheduled from July 25 to August 9.
The 2026 CONCACAF Men’s Under-20 Qualifiers, running from February 23 to March 4, 2026, will be held at various venues across Central America and the Caribbean.
This tournament is crucial, serving as the qualification pathway for the FIFA U-20 World Cup 2027, where teams will compete for a chance to participate in the global finals.
The competition structure includes group stages followed by knockout rounds, featuring national teams from North America, Central America, and the Caribbean.
The top-performing teams will advance to the final phase of the CONCACAF U-20 Championship, which determines the confederation’s representative at the World Cup.
Team Saint Lucia departed the island on February 20th. The squad is as follows:

Defenders: Malik Louis, Mekhi Phillip, Rohan Vitalis, Alfred Hippolyte, Aunarje Maxwell, Joshua George, Michael Justin

Forwards: Niyel Fontenelle, Eymani Butcher, Messiah Pinel, Edric Popo
