
The SLFA Inc. Boys Under 12 District League competition sponsored by the Ministry of Youth Development and Sports, National Lotteries Authority and ACADO continued over the weekend of Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd August 2025 with five scheduled matches at the Technical Centre in Grande Riviere,x Dennery.
There were wins for Gros Islet, Mabouya Valley, Vieux Fort South, Mon Repos and Anse La Raye.
On Saturday 2nd August in the first of a double header, Gros Islet made light work of Roseau Valley with a 6 – 1 victory. They got their goals from Jason William who scored a brace, registering his contributions in the 33rd & 59th minutes while Kermanny Ferdinand {5th}, Kendall Nelson {15th}, Nathan Christophe {30th} and Maxwell Andrew’s penalty in the 55th minutes were the other contributors.
Joey Justin scored for Roseau Valley in the 11th minute.

In the day’s other game, Mabouya Valley maintained their dominance in the competition with a 4 – 0 victory over Central Castries. Their goal scorers were Keevan Louisy {a brace in the 30th & 41st minutes} Zackim Francois 58th and Vjay Edwin 60th minute.
It was just as exciting on Sunday 3rd August at the same venue. In the day’s opener Mon Repos trailing 1 – 0 at half time got past Soufriere 2 – 1, with goals from Daniel Charles 44th & Dellan Stephen 55th minutes.
Hezekia Isidore had earlier opened the scoring for Soufriere in the 24th minute.
Vieux Fort South edged out Dennery 1 – 0 with a Benjamin Poyotte goal in the 18th min.

In the final game, Anse La Raye defeated Desruisseaux 4 – 2, with Mitchel Deterville scoring the tournament’s second hat trick in the 7th, 27th & 43rd minutes with O’ Neil Sonson rounding things off in the 40th min.
Dervey Tobiere and Almost Flavius scored for Desruisseaux in the 11th & 13th minutes respectively.
Meanwhile, the Saint Lucia Football Association Inc. has announce the 2025 Under 15 Girls District Championship.
This Championship will start in the month of September 2025 and will be played at one central venue in its entirety.

The player can be 15 years old in the year of the competition but must not be turning 16 years in the year.
To this end a number of forms have been sent to the Leagues to be submitted to The SLFA Inc, which will indicate your participation in the championship.
