U-14 Girls Perform Favourably in CFU Challenge Series

Team Saint Lucia wrapped up their campaign in the CFU Girls Under-14 Challenge Series in Trinidad and Tobago with an impressive 5-0 victory over St. Kitts & Nevis.

Prolific striker Kayla Polius showcased her talent once again by scoring a remarkable hat trick, marking her third in a row. Her outstanding performance earned her the Player of the Match Award.

Kayla finished the tournament as the clear leader in goals, netting ten and securing the title of top goal scorer at the end of the Group stage. Saint Lucia concluded the Group stage in third position with a total of 6 points.

In another development, the final round of preliminary matches in the SLFA Inc Senior Women competition was set to conclude on August 19 at the Canaries Playing Field with the following matches:

Anse La Raye vs. Desruisseaux

 – Central Castries vs. Dennery

Upon the completion of the preliminary rounds, the top four teams will advance to the semi-finals, leading up to the Finals and Third Place Play Off.
