Yesterday (Friday), the fixtures at the Phillip Marcellin Grounds showcased the following matchups:

➤ Vieux Fort North vs. Micoud
➤ Central Castries vs. Choiseul

On Wednesday, at the MPP, soccer fans witnessed fierce competition as the National U-20 faced Roseau. The U20s surged ahead with impressive goals from Shervon Byron and Tarshawn Walter.

However, Roseau demonstrated undeniable resilience. Bashan Edward’s brace brought Roseau level before Cornelius Edmund struck late, sealing a comeback win.

The final score was 3-2, showcasing a tough loss for the youngsters, yet their fight and promise remain evident.

In the preceding match, Laborie clashed with Dennery in a high-octane first half that set the tone. Donnaville Montroupe and Jaheim Ferdinand established an early lead for Laborie, but Dennis Robert quickly responded, giving Dennery a lifeline.

Despite Mon Repos pushing hard in the second half, Laborie held strong to secure a hard-fought victory, marking back-to-back wins!

The SPFL competition is set to take a brief intermission, paving the way for the exciting CPL action. The home team, St Lucia King, will host five matches at the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground (DSCG) from August 23 to 31.
