RILEY Smith displayed an outstanding performance to emerge as a champion in the 2024 RBC Junior Tennis Championships, claiming victory in both the Under-10 Singles and Doubles events held in Trinidad and Tobago, recently.
Riley not only secured the Under-10 Singles Trophy but also joined forces with his teammate Kimari Felix, clinching the top spot in the Under-10 Doubles Championship.

Riley’s regional tennis journey began in 2023. He faced numerous challenges head-on. Despite not advancing past the qualifiers at last year’s RBC Junior Championships and reaching the semifinals at the Sagicor Junior Tennis Championships in both 2023 and 2024, he remained relentless in his pursuit of improvement.
Determined to excel, Riley set clear objectives and committed to rigorous training, ensuring he was fully prepared to compete at the highest level.
This year, he delivered an impressive performance, achieving his first-ever singles title and a doubles title alongside Kimari Felix.
Riley’s exceptional play throughout the tournament demonstrates his significant growth, resilience, and unyielding commitment to success.
