This year’s ‘Assou Square’ in the city centre featured the same sounds, sights, and live entertainment as previous years – with a twist. There were also numerous activities and entertainment options for children.

Constitution Park, located close to the Square, was transformed into a wonderland complete with rides, bouncy castles, trampolines, and other attractions. And William Peter Boulevard, near the Park, was decked out with toys.

Derek Walcott Square, on the other hand, offered a variety of activities, including live concerts, giveaways, and nonstop entertainment.

Thousands of Saint Lucians attended the New Year’s celebration, hoping for a better experience this time around.
