On Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at about 9:50 p.m., the Gros-Islet Police Station received a report of a shooting at Piat Grande Rivere, located in Gros-Islet, which resulted in the death of one male.
Investigators proceeded to the scene, where they discovered one unresponsive male lying motionless. Investigators also identified apparent gunshot injuries to the victim’s torso.
The victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead by a medical practitioner on the scene. The deceased has been identified as fifty-three-year-old Gregory Loiuson of Piat, Grande Riviere.
