On Wednesday, September 11, 2024, around 7:00 p.m., the Dennery Police Station received a report of a stabbing incident at La Pointe, Dennery. As a result, one male sustained fatal injuries.
Officers from the Dennery and Richfond Police Stations were dispatched to the scene. Initial inquiries revealed that a male was transported to the Dennery Hospital following an altercation. Investigators proceeded to the hospital, where they found an unresponsive male with apparent chest wounds.
The individual succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead by a medical practitioner. The deceased has been identified as Pascal Justin, a 53-year-old resident of La Pointe, Dennery.
Investigations into this homicide have led to the arrest of a 24-year-old male from Dennery.
