On Monday, September 2, 2024, at approximately 4:19 AM, the Babonneau Police Station received a report of a shooting incident at Fond Assau, Babonneau, in Castries. This tragic event resulted in the death of an adult male.
Upon arrival at the scene, investigators found an unresponsive male with apparent gunshot wounds. Personnel from the Saint Lucia Fire Service also responded and attended to the victim.
Unfortunately, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by a medical practitioner. The deceased has been identified as 29-year-old Keston Delaire of Fond Assau, Babonneau.
