The King and Queen of the Bands competition was a stellar display of artistry and cultural celebration Monday night at the SAB playing field. Fifteen lavish costumes were on display, and nine queens and six kings competed for the coveted titles. Each outfit, some of which towered over thirty feet, was carefully evaluated based on its design, craftsmanship, presentation, and interpretation of the topic.
