Terrel Thomas Secures Two-year Football Contract

Terrel Thomas, the captain of Saint Lucia’s Senior Men National Football team, has recently secured a two-year contract with Carlisle United Football Club in League Two of the English football league.

The 28-year-old defender, who stands at 6 feet 3 inches, joins the Blues after spending two years at Charlton Athletic. Thomas has been the captain of the Piton Boys since the 2023 Gold Cup Preliminaries, earning 13 international caps and scoring one goal.

In an interview with Carlisle United Football Club media, Thomas expressed his honour in captaining his country and looks forward to representing it once he is in good health.

Additionally, Saint Lucian Arkell Jude-Boyd has signed with Cheltenham Town. Despite being included in Saint Lucia’s 23-man squad for the Nation’s League championships last November, Jude-Boyd couldn’t participate due to documentation issues.

Recently released from Queens Park Rangers, the 21-year-old right-back joined Cheltenham Town after a successful time on loan at Torquay United in the National League South, where he scored six goals in 17 matches.

Speaking to Cheltenham media, Jude-Boyd expressed his excitement about joining Cheltenham and being part of the team, highlighting that his experience at Torquay has prepared him to contribute to the club’s success.

Said Jude- Boyd: “I’m thrilled to join Cheltenham and to work with the team. My time at Torquay gave me valuable experience, and I’m ready to contribute to the club’s success.”
