Big Night for Soca Music in Saint Lucia

Tonight will be one heck of a night for Soca music in Saint Lucia as some of the hottest names in this genre of music ‘battle’ for supremacy in the Groovy Soca Monarch and Power Soca Monarch Competitions slated for one of the island’s popular entertainment spots – the SAB at Vigie.

Will Arthur Allain hold on to his Groovy Soca Monarch title or will it be taken from him? He will be facing some super talented competitors, however Allain has shown he is no push over having won that title multiply times over the years. The nine competitors he will be facing are big names in the Soca arena in Saint Lucia.

Ricky T, Ezra the Fun Machine, Nerdy, Ti Blacks and the others that will be on the big stage tonight are all capable of lifting the Groovy Soca Monarch title.

The situation is the same in the Power Soca Monarch Competition, also slated for tonight at the same venue. Who will take Imran Nerdy crown from him? Veterans like Mantius, Nicole David, Ricky T, Sly and the others all have what it takes to dethrone last year’s winner.
