THE Saint Lucia Kings (SLK) have added Ackeem Auguste, the 20-year-old West Indies Under-19 captain for the ICC World Cup 2022, to their squad for the 2024 Caribbean Premier League (CPL).
Ackeem joins his compatriots, Mc Kenney Clarke, a right-arm medium-fast bowler, and Shadrack Descarte, a top-order batter, who have been retained by the SLK.
The SLK is scheduled to play four matches at the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground (DSCG), which recently hosted six ICC T20 World Cup matches.
The SLK squad for the upcoming CPL includes Heinrich Klaasen, Faf du Plessis, Alzarri Joseph, Johnson Charles, Roston Chase, Noor Ahmad, David Wiese, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Matthew Forde, Aaron Jones, Khary Pierre, Khari Campbell, Johann Jeremiah, Mikkel Govia, Ackeem Auguste, Shadrack Descarte, McKenny Clarke.
