In preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, Saint Lucia’s Senior Men’s team is intensively training. Due to the unavailability of the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground(DSCG), their home matches this year will take place in Barbados. Saint Lucia’s first game is against Haiti on June 6, followed by a match against Aruba on June 11 at the same venue.

Meanwhile, the national U-15 Girls team is gearing up for the Concacaf U-15 Girls tournament in Aruba from August 4 to 11. The Boys U-14 team is also training for the CFU Boys U-15 competition in Antigua and Barbuda from July to August.

Additionally, BAYS FC will represent Saint Lucia in the Concacaf 2024 Club tournament scheduled for Curacao from July 23.

The Saint Lucia Football Association (SLFA) Inc. will host a Match Commissioner’s Course from May 31 to June 1. Concacaf has consented to facilitate at least 10 Match Commissioners for this course at the SLFA’s base in La Clery.

Consequently, the SLFA requests each member league to nominate one person to attend the Match Commissioners Course, at no cost to the member league.

The SLFA will provide updated information to the respective leagues on this subject.

In the meantime, FIFA has endorsed its support for the continued development of female soccer on the island, through the FIFA Women’s Development Programme.
