ISSL Secretariat Plans for Upcoming Symposium

The Institute of Surveyors (St Lucia) Inc. has announced the convening of its upcoming Symposium, slated for May 15 and 16.

“This symposium centred on the theme: Professions in the Built Environment, and the impacts of Innovation and Technological Developments in the Small Island Developing States of Saint Lucia. It promises to be an enlightening and insightful event,” an ISSL spokesperson stated.

“In today’s rapidly evolving landscape, understanding the intricate processes of land administration, property valuation, land surveying, quantity surveying, architecture, engineering, and alternative dispute resolution the legal and financial relations and implications is paramount,” an ISSL press release adds.

“As such, this symposium aims to provide attendees with a comprehensive overview of these crucial aspects, shedding light on emerging trends, best practices, and the integration of innovation and technology within these fields. The significance of fostering proper linkages between various professional services provided in the Built Environment cannot be overstated,” the release further stated.

“Through collaborative efforts and shared expertise, we can facilitate more efficient and effective decision-making processes, ensuring sustainable development and growth within our communities,” the statement continued.
