The Valley lads got into stride and pulled further away from their opponents, with two telling strikes from Junior Hunter in the 50’ and Stephan Valty 67’. Marchand got a goal from Jervis Joseph in the 85’ as they attempted to even the score, but Roseau held on tightly to close the gap and register full points from the match.
In a Tier 1 match; Central Castries edged past Laborie 2-1.
Leroy Alexander put C Castries ahead in the 24’, and Simeon Francis scored in the 69’ for a 2-0 lead. Laborie managed to convert one minute later through Jason Edwin in the 70’, but there was no getting past the city lads who held on tightly to the advantage.
