The semi finals of the SLFA Inc. Under-17 competition is scheduled for Saturday (March 2) at the Desruisseaux Playing Field.
The matchups for the semis clash are as follows:
– Black Panthers vs. Valley Soccer – 4.00 pm
– Northern United vs. Uptown Rebels – 6.00 pm
The Finals and Third Place Play Off are due to be played at the same venue venue on Saturday March 9.
Following the preliminary round of the St. Lucia Fooball Asociation Inc Under 17 competition, the final points table is as follows.
Group A
1. Northern United – 19 pts
2. Valley Soccer – 16 pts.
3. Lancers – 15 pts.
4. GMC United – 12 pts.
5. CT Foundation – 9 pts
6. B 1 FC – 6 pts
7. T Valley – 3 pts
8. VSADC – 0 pt.
Group B
1. Black Panthers – 22 pts.
2. Uptown Rebels – 21 pts.
3. Shamballa Shiloh – 16 pts.
4. DCYO – 12 pts.
5. 1987 All Stars – 11 pts.
6. Challengers – 10 pts.
7. Piton Travel Young Stars – 5 pts
8. Victory Eagles – 4 pts and
9. Black Eagles – 2 pts.
As a result, Northern United and Valley Soccer advanced from Group A; while Black Panthers and Uptown Rebels qualified from Group B.
Meanwhile on Saturday 17th February the St. Lucia Football Association [SLFA] Inc. presented Certificates to the successful coaches who participated in the recently held C Licence CONCACAF Coaching Course.
The presentation took place at the SLFA’s Inc. Conference Room in La Clery, with Coaching Educator Solomon Alexander as the facilitator.
The successful coaches are as follows:
Ellaisha Marquis, Macrina Fanus, Shania Charles, Mineva Charles, Leanna Wallace, Chermalyn Albert, Ernasha Nanton, Sabbatus Hunte and Alvin Poyotte.
