THIS weekend, soccer fans are in for a treat when the Veterans in Sports Inc. [VISI] championship finals and third place play-offs, take place at the Dennery playing field.
Today (Saturday), SLU Metals Central Vieux Fort takes on Anse La Raye Veterans in the Plate Cup finals at 6:00pm while Laborie Veterans play Mon Repos Sharks for the third-place at 4:00pm.
On Sunday, Lancers FC and Gros Islet Veterans will clash for a shot at the Main Championship trophy at 7:00pm while Soufriere plays All Blacks – Dennery for the third-place at 5:00pm.
Lancers FC and Gros Islet Veterans were the semi-final winners of the 2023/24 VISI Main Championship last weekend.
In the first semifinal match, Lancers FC beat All Blacks – Dennery 2-0, while Gros Islet Veterans defeated Soufriere Veterans 5-1 in the other game.
