Assistance from corporate St. Lucia remains pivotal in fostering a healthier and safer St. Lucia.

Peter and Company Distribution is the latest business to provide support to the Ministry of Health, Wellness and Elderly Affairs, through a generous donation of Beep hand sanitizers.

Ag. Drug Inspector, Astrid Mondesir commended the distribution company for their thoughtful gesture, and described it as an evident commitment to public health.

“in times of unprecedented challenges partnerships with organizations that prioritize the wellbeing of our citizens become invaluable. Peter and Company’s dedication to corporate social responsibility stands as a shining example of hoe businesses can make a positive impact on our society,” Mondesir said.

Divisional Sales Manager, Dudavhu James says the donation marks the organization’s commitment to the health and wellbeing of the nation.

He says in recognition of the invaluable efforts of the Ministry of Health towards public health promotion and the ongoing battle against constantly mutating viruses, PCD collaborated with the Beep parent company on this venture.

Said James, “Today I’m honored to announce a significant donation on behalf of both our organizations. A generous contribution of Beep hand sanitizers to the Ministry of Health, Wellness and Elderly Affairs of St. Lucia. This donation is not merely an act of corporate philanthropy; it is a symbol of our enduring dedication to the people we serve. If nothing else, the virus has taught us the importance of resilience, adaptability and collective action.”

Deputy Permanent Secretary, Tessa Inglis expressed profound gratitude on behalf of the Ministry of Health for the gesture.

Mrs. Inglis says corporate assistance is welcome, as the Ministry anticipates
further inflation to an already high health care bill.

“As we aim to move towards the implementation of Universal Health Coverage where we aim to provide equitable access to affordable services; quality services to the nation, we recognize that the costs are going to climb even higher. So, donations like these from corporate citizens are what will help us along the journey. We really do want to register our appreciation to Peter and Company for supporting the health sector,” Inglis said.

The organization further extended its deepest gratitude to the Ministry of Health for its unwavering dedication and tireless efforts as frontline heroes in the battle of health and safety. The company is also hopeful that this donation will spark a renewed vigilance and commitment to public health.
