Twenty-three murders were solved by police last year, seven of which stemmed from 2022 incidents.
The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) not only confirmed this yesterday but provided key findings from its 2023 Crime Analysis.
And by solved police mean they arrested and charged persons for the murders committed.
According to police, law enforcement achieved a detection rate of fifty-four percent (54%) this year between January to November.
Police are calling on persons with information on criminal activities to call the crime hotline 555 or to download the crime hotline app via the app store.
