REMINDING Saint Lucians that “if we work together, everyone benefits” the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force is urging anyone with information about a pump-action homemade shotgun found in an abandoned structure in Pavee to contact them.
A team of officers from the Central Division of the police force responded to a report of suspicious activity at an abandoned structure at Pavee Road, Castries Tuesday of this week.
“A thorough search of the structure led to the discovery and seizure of one pump-action homemade shotgun with two rounds of shotgun ammunition,” stated a press release from the police.
According to the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force it is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of this firearm and urges anyone with information related to this case to come forward or contact them using the Crime Hotline [555] or the ‘RSLPF Crime Hotline App’ to provide an anonymous tip.
“Remember, if we work together, everyone benefits,” police stated clearly in their appeal to the public to be part of the country’s crime fighting apparatus.
