JUST over a month after 25-year-old Dayne Felix alias “G6” was killed in Barre St. Joseph, police have arrested and charged a 21-year-old in connection with that incident.
Felix was fatally shot on Monday, October 9, 2023, in Barre St. Joseph. Police reported that Felix was transported to the Owen King European Union (OKEUH) Hospital with apparent gunshot wounds, where he later succumbed.
On Wednesday, November 15, 2023, Officers attached to the Major Crimes Unit arrested twenty-one- year-old Octavius Francis of Ti Rocher, Micoud on suspicion of Murder. On Saturday, November 18, 2023, Octavius Francis was charged for the Murder of Dayne Felix.
“Anyone with information related to this case or any other investigation, is encouraged to come forward and share it with us. Persons can utilise the Crime Hotline at 555, or the ‘RSLPF Crime Hotline App’ which is available in the Google Play Store on Android Devices, to provide any information. Information is shared anonymously via both mediums,” stated a police press release Thursday, which added that every bit of information may make a difference in solving a case and bringing justice to the victim’s family and friends.
