The Saint Lucia Football Association [SLFA] Inc. Club Championships continued on Tuesday with a match in Div. II.
DCYO defeated Faith United convincingly 6-2. Scoring for the Dennery based -team were Shaquelle William (2), Makaay Emile (2), Nathaniel Fontenelle (1) and an own goal after a deflection from a shot from Lascell Farquson.
DCYO’s technical unit described the victory as an “Overall great performance by the youngsters …but still room for improvement.”
Matches continued in the SLFA’s Inc. Div. I and II
Competitions were held last week at different venues. At the Dennery Playing Field, Monchy United with a brace from Troy Greenidge in the 3rd and 53rd minutes edged out GMC 2 – 1. GMC’s goal scorer was Josh George in the 35th minute.
In the Div. II competition played at Micoud, Black Panthers maintain their winning streak with a hard fought 2 – 1 victory over Diamond Ballers. Black Panther goal scorers were David Henry 20th and Arthurton Griffith in the 60th minutes. Keius Serieux scored for Diamond Ballers in the 79th minute.
Ti Rocher defeated Knights FC 2 – 1, with goals from Kimanus St. Juste and Simius Eristhee in the 55th and 81st minutes respectively. And though Mickey Wilfred gave Knights a 43rd minute lead, Panthers fought back hard for the win.

At Dennery – in Div. II – New Generation vs. Lancers FC,
VSADC vs. Piton Travel Young Stars.
