The Ministry of Youth Development and Sports in collaboration with Invest Saint Lucia, the Ministry of Tourism and the Saint Lucia Motor Sports Association is pleased to present the first-ever Saint Lucia Drag Racing Team.
The team is due to represent Saint Lucia in the 2023 Legendary Drags Regional Invitation in November, to be held in Antigua.
The Saint Lucia Drag team members are as follows:
Edi Ledgrand, Johnny Chitole, Ronald Auguste, and Kent Joseph.
Special recognition goes out to Bradley Phillip, driver of the Honda Civic.
A spokesperson for the group stated they would like to acknowledge the input from all participants and supporters who came out to participate in this initiative, and that the enthusiasm can be channeled to develop the sport even further.
Preparations for both drivers and cars have commenced, so the team can perform at the optimum level.
