SECURITY officers employed with ICON Security throughout Saint Lucia will now benefit from an eight percent general wage increase negotiated between the company and the National Workers Union (NWU). This amount will be spread over a three – year period.
The new industrial contract also makes provisions for an increase in the duration of Paternity Leave as well as in the allowances for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
The Company and the Union agree to the immediate implementation of the said provisions without any further delay.
The National Workers Union and Icon Security have enjoyed an industrial relationship spanning over 10 years.
