On a recent visit to his homeland, Christopher Boucher, an NBA star born in Saint Lucia, presented school supplies and backpacks to students of Monchy R.C. Primary School, which Boucher’s mother once attended.
Boucher, a center for the Toronto Raptors, plans to visit secondary schools in Saint Lucia, including Saint Lucia Sports Academy (SLSA), when he returns to the island of his birth.
In the company of his mother and others, Chris visited the selected schools where he intermingled with the students and presented tokens of sports gear to the cheerful students who relished the opportunity to be in the presence of the NBA player.
