Bonne Terre Blazers came off as Champions of the KFC National Basketball League 2023 after defeating Morne Gladiators in the big final, at the Beausejour Indoor facility last Saturday (March, 18).
Blazers got past Gladiators 74- 70 in a keenly contested match that went down to the wire.
In the tightly contested semi-final matchups, Bonne Terre Blazers defeated Soufriere Kings 56-55, while Morne Gladiators beat Courts Jets 59-51.
Troy Louison led the scoring with 28 pts., 7 rebounds, 6 steals, and 5 assists to receive the Player of the Game award for Bonne Terre.
Jayzee Saltibus topped with 14 pts., and 19 rebounds to collect the Player of the Game award for Soufriere.
Louison was also recognized as the MVP of the finals; while Saltibus was awarded the Most Rebounds.
