THE Saint Lucia Olympic Committee is in the process of reviewing its recent outing at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. This process includes a series of consultations and engagements with its stakeholders in the coming weeks.
Saint Lucia was represented by a contingent of five athletes from three sports namely Swimming, Sailing and Athletics. The athletes were swimmers Mikaili Charlemagne and Luc Zephir; Sailors Luc Chevrier and Stephanie Devaux – Lovell and track and field athlete high jumper Levern Spencer.
Though not medaling, the athletes gave of their best and the Saint Lucia Olympic Committee Incorporated will continue to support them as they progress in their respective sports.
“We are still awaiting the final reports for our management and technical teams’. These will certainly guide us on the way forward with each of these athletes and importantly Saint Lucia’s future participation in multisport Games” President Fortuna Belrose said.
