MANY who attended the celebration of the National Day of Morocco, held on July 31st, 2019, can recall the promise made at the time by His Excellency Abderrahim Kadmiri, Ambassador of Morocco to Saint Lucia, to provide a quantity of fertilizers to benefit local farmers and Saint Lucia as a whole.
Ambassador Kadmiri has confirmed that the Kingdom of Morocco is truly a reliable partner for Saint Lucia by making this a reality; on September 17th, 2019, the Ministry of Agriculture received eight containers with 200 tons of premium quality fertilizers from the Moroccan Embassy. The shipment of fertilizers to Saint Lucia represents a significant donation from the Kingdom of Morocco to the government and people of Saint Lucia. In accepting the fertilizers, agriculture officials stated it was a welcome gift from the Kingdom of Morocco, located in North Africa.
There is no doubt there are other areas being explored for cooperation (such as tourism, health, agriculture, and more) and that the best is yet to come.
“……..and that the best is yet to come.”
WoW: way to go St. Lucia, getting help from left to right.
