THE Saint Lucia National Cricket Association (SLNCA) is pleased to announce that National and Central Castries left arm fast bowler Dillan John left the Island on Monday for Grenada to join his counterparts in a one month Windward Islands Volcanoes Training Camp in his quest to successfully make it onto the Volcanoes Franchise Squad who will compete in the 2019 Cricket West Indies (CWI) Nagico Regional Super 50 Tournament.
The young pacer whilst in Grenada will be engaged in a series of fitness and training sessions also to include a number of practice matches at the Camp which will conclude on Wednesday 30th October.
The CWI Nagico Regional Super 50 Tournament runs from Tuesday 5th November to Tuesday 3rd December 2019.
SLNCA congratulates John on his invitation to participate in the Volcanoes Camp and wishes him every success.
The 2019 Windward Islands Volcanoes squad is -: Sunil Ambris, Alick Anthanaze, Roland Cato, Kirk Edwards, Kavem Hodge, Devon Smith, Shermon Lewis, Obed McCoy, Ray Jordon, Josh Thomas, Bhaskar Yadram, Larry Edward, Kenneth Dember, Desron Maloney and Dillon John.
