MINISTER in the Ministry of Finance, Doctor Ubaldus Raymond, has assumed responsibility for the public service as of July 1, 2018.
Raymond disclosed that he has so far met with heads of department collectively and will this week be meeting them individually.
“We are putting together a seven-pillar strategy for the public service and we will be unfolding the strategy of the public service department very soon,” he stated.
The Saint Lucia Civil Service Association (CSA) has so far declined comment on the recent appointment.
