THREE tournaments, two semifinals, one final and a third place playoff as well as five under – 14 matches will be the highlights on the St. Lucia Football Association’s card when their train whistles through the various communities this weekend.
The SLFA, in collaboration with the Gros Islet Football League continues the Guardsman Northern Zone Under – 14 today with two matches. From 11:00 a.m. VSADC plays Lancers and Big Players plays Fond Asson at 1:00 p.m.
Also today the most awaited national under – 15 Female Tournament comes to a close this afternoon at La Clery with two games.
From 1:00 p.m. in the third place playoff Micoud F.C plays Canaries, while at 2:45 p.m. for the Championship, Gros Islet F.C takes on Vieux Fort South F.C. Both teams played unbeaten in the preliminary, quarter and semifinal round of the competition.
Tomorrow three games will be played in the Guardsman Under – 14s. From 11:00 a.m. First Touch / Pioneers versus Super J Boboville, followed by Northern United against Ti Valley at 1:00 p.m. and GMC United take on Ciceron Seagulls at 3:00 p.m.
The SLFA train will then whistle its way to the south of the island for the semifinal of the FA Fantasy Inter-District Champions competition which will be played at the Phillip Marcellin Ground tomorrow.
In game 1, Marchand (Atletico) plays Laborie (FC Bassel 1983) from 6:00 p.m., while Canaries (Bayer Leverkusen) takes on Micoud (Shakhar) at 8:00 p.m.
