Saint Lucia’s remaining matches will see them play Grenada on Thursday 7 at 7:00 a.m.; Barbados at 7:15 p.m.; and their final encounter will be against Trinidad and Tobago at 6:00 p.m.
Meanwhile, on the opening night of the tournament Saint Lucia come-from-behind to defeat Dominica. The Dominicans led 7-3, and opened their advantage to 14-7 at the half, before Saint Lucia narrowed the margin to 19-13 after three quarters.
With all to play for going into the fourth quarter Saint Lucia outscored the Dominicans 10-3 to pull out a one-goal win, 23-22. The coaching team leaned on their seasoned players, and though Kiana Nelson struggled with just four goals from 14 attempts, MerkissaTheodule had 8 from 16 and Megan Nestor scored 11 from 14 attempts.
On Sunday, Saint Lucia went down to a spirited Bermuda team 31 – 29. For Bermuda Donnauri Robinson scored 19 from 27 attempts and Zekiah Lewis 10 from 20 attempts. For Saint Lucia Ariel Leonard 1 from 1, MerkissaTheodule 20 from 25 attempts and Megan Nestor 8 from 13).
